Health and Wellness Festival

July 13th and 14th
13 Saturday 9:00 am - 14 Sunday 2:30 pm
Now moving into its exciting 5th year, The Health & Wellness Festival will again be managed and promoted by HPA.

In 2019 due to popular demand the event will be held over two days July 13th and 14th and will have a focus on ‘Health & Wellness’ on the Saturday and Sunday will focus on elements of ‘Sports and Recreation’. The Sunday event will be in collaboration with Clubhouse Territory as they commence their exciting pathway to the ‘Be Inclusive Games’ in June 2020.

Like every year this year’s event is designed to attract an increasing number of organisations, retailers and practitioners to the venue. In addition we will facilitate a diverse range of workshops, speakers and entertainment at the event.

*The event is free entry to the public.

**If you are interested in having or being an exhibitor send an email to healthwellness2019@hpa.net.au

The Darwin Waterfront has now been officially added to the international Tesla Destination Charging network. The new charging Tesla Wall Connectors help Tesla drivers have a seamless experience when they park. The ongoing expansions of the network will ensure that Tesla owners in the Darwin area are able to easily charge their vehicles when they’re not charging at home. “Early adoption of technology links with the Enabling Smarter Communities direction in the NT Government’s Digital Territory Strategy,” Local Member for Port Darwin, Paul Kirby said. “This is an excellent example of how a government organisation has harnessed smart city technology and is supporting a clean transport solution.” “Technological changes to public assets such as this will transform the way we live and provides an additional resource to support owners of electronic vehicles.” “As electric vehicles become more accessible, the availability of charging stations will improve services for owners.” The Kitchener Drive Multi-storey Car Park is located near some of Darwin’s most popular areas including the swimming lagoons, restaurants, Stokes Hill Wharf and is only a 5 minute walk to Darwin’s CBD and Smith Street Mall area. The car park remains free to park up to two hours a day, or three hours a day for Darwin Waterfront Members.
